This song is a bunch of clips made in ableton this fine afternoon, programmed and launched with the Push. This recording is the clips launched live and the effects are being modulated live with the Touchable app on an Ipad. It hasn't been edited after the fact, just raw live electronic weirdness for the fuck of it. I finally hooked up the proper effects chains and mapping to the ipad and I've been having tons of fun making weird shit with it.

I put this song together today, thinking a lot about my grandpa Hugh Winnell who had been really sick with lung cancer over the last few months. I was able to see him the other day and I had the chance to tell him how much it meant to me that he welcomed me into his family and showed me so much love and concern for my well being over the years. My sister called me tonight and told me that he had passed away this evening, which would have been while I was making this music. He was an amazing man, and he left behind an amazing family that will miss him very much. Over the years he shared lots of great stories and passed on a lot of insight into the world. One of the most important things he helped me to realize is that family shares more than blood. There's a lot of love to give, don't hold your cards too close to your chest.
