cltx is a young french artist born and raised in Paris. His productions are highly influenced by the warehouse parties, which shaped the Paris scene in the 2010s. cltx’s love for heavy metal music influences his techno productions. Multiple raves and club nights led him to his new passion – producing his own music and creating his cltx techno project and running his own imprint TX & Autonome Records. If we talk about a signature, he will reflect it in his powerful kicks, ravy fluent vibes, and raw structures. Those sounds brought him behind the booth in the clubs where he was dancing only some years before. He just started to write the tale of cltx, stay tuned for more…

And so one realizes that the only way to create is to do it for oneself and never for the rest. Not for the promoters, not for the labels and not for the public.

The understanding of this means freeing yourself. You realize that the work done speaks for itself, that the opinion of others regarding such work doesn't matter as, in essence the work manifests its own defensive mechanism.

I keep traveling, sleeping badly, eating poorly and sometimes living at the end of my tether. Slowly perfecting the bags under my eyes and the cheekbones on my face like a sculptor would his stone. Y entonces uno se da cuenta de que la única manera de crear es hacerlo para uno mismo y nunca para los demás. Ni para los promotores, ni para los sellos, ni para el público. Entender eso es liberarse.

Y cuando eso pasa te das cuenta de que las obras se defienden solas, y que la opinión que los demás hacen sobre ellas no necesita ser defendida, ya que es la misma esencia de la obra la que se manifiesta y defiende.

Y yo sigo viajando, mal durmiendo, mal comiendo y a veces mal viviendo. Esculpiendo mis ojeras y pómulos como un escultor trabaja la roca. Viviendo en la soledad del viaje acompañado solo por Hesse, Camus y Sartre, caminando entre andenes y terminales. Sopesando el peso de lo vivido y aguardando lo que está por llegar.

Y uno se va dando cuenta de que en la vida no hay privilegio mayor para un hombre que elegir su propio camino, su propio fin, y en última instancia su propio camino hacia el fin.

Next on our MASS Sessions is ØTTA, a London-based Portuguese producer and DJ as active in the local scene or abroad. 
She is the co-founder of the collective and event series Орфей - [orpheus] known by their aesthetics - hard and distorted techno accompanied by high-energy performance acts.

Her roots of playing in an orchestra whilst raving across Europe have brought forth an epic and merciless style that is now her signature speech. Her style joins the sense of emotional depth with raw solid basslines mixed with industrial noises, gabber and ravey classics. Melting different styles together allowed her to create a personal flow into a heavy and powerful techno inspiring rioting and raving whenever she plays.

The mix features tracks from : Jacidorex, Brecc, Clair, HAEDES, SOYA, Veta.M, BADAH, Noimage and CYNKT.
