Forty Cats BIO:

Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats is one of the few Russian female artists whose tracks have garnered impressive support on the world stage. The first big success arrived soon after the release of the "Fluency Rate" track on the well-recognized Ukrainian progressive artist 8Kays' label; the track has collected over 720,000 streams on Spotify alone since then. But the real breakthrough in Christina's musical career came in August 2019 when her debut EP "Highway" was launched on This Never Happened, Lane 8's personal label. It was followed by the official Forty Cats remix of one of the tracks from Lane 8's album, and soon after — another 3-track EP "Elastic Sun" at the end of 2020.
2021 became the most productive year for Forty Cats, marking a new creative milestone for the artist: making appearances on the top labels in the melodic and progressive house genres. Over the past year, her releases have been released on labels such as Sudbeat (Hernan Cattaneo's imprint)б Mango Alley, Manual Music, Meanwhile, Kindisch (Get Physical sublabel)б Monstercat Silk and more. June 2024 marked my first all-night-long set of the year at Stereo, and what an unforgettable journey it was. For some reason, I decided to hit record that night….something I rarely do and it turned out to be the perfect capture of everything an all-night-long set should embody. Playing for a full 10 hours in a packed room was nothing short of magical.  I began the night with delicate ambient sounds, slowly building layer by layer. As the hours passed, the music evolved from soothing atmospheres to hypnotic grooves and high-energy peaks. The progressive flow carried us all the way to the final track, a culmination of hours of shared intensity and joy. Theres something incredibly special about creating a set from start to finish, telling a story that captures every emotion along the way.  Stereo is more than just a venue it’s my sanctuary of sound, a place where magic happens and where we all become one. The energy, love, and connection on the dancefloor were palpable, turning the night into an unforgettable experience. And recording the set was a stroke of luck as it captured not only the music but the crowd’s incredible reactions: the chants, the screams, the claps, the raw energy of the Stereoheads.  I feel so lucky to have this long-standing residency and to receive so much love from the Stereo family. Nights like this remind me why I fell in love with this craft. To everyone who shared the dancefloor with me that night, thank you for making it so special. And to those listening to the recording, I hope it takes you back to that magic 10 hours. One journey. One family. One Love. One Home. 💫

Inspired by the vibes of past and contemporary electronic music, he started mixing emotive melodies with a contemporary beat. Urged by a strong desire to develop his own DJ style, he soon discovered his path into the kingdom of sound. 

Eran's remarkable musical taste has been astonishing countless party people across the dance floors across the globe. His sophisticated blend of melodically driven electronic music manages to surprise the crowd every time. The tracks he harmonically and seamlessly mixes tell an intriguing story. Having singed his records to labels such as Sudbeat and Plattenbank has made him a vast feature in today’s world of electronic music.  His musical intuition, great mixing skills and openness for innovative influences make every party worthy of its definition. By consciously adapting his music to the audience and carefully building up the tempo, he succeeds to turn every party into one that will definitely be remembered. Having found something that was missing in Antwerps nightlife he founded, together with his partner, a new concept called EDGE in 2014 which has already booked some of the biggest names in the industry such as John Digweed, Sasha, Lee Burridge, Adriatique, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo b2b Guy J just to mention a few. EDGE was founded to bring party people, Dj’s and musical influences from different cultures and styles together. Since its initial conception in Antwerp EDGE expanded its horizons and has held editions in Tel Aviv and Amsterdam.  In 2017 EDGE expanded its brand by launching a record label which aims to curate some of the best electronic music around.
