An accomplished DJ, producer and BBC broadcaster with a distinct house sonic, Arielle’s previous Defected release ‘Feels So Good’ was a 2023 standout, earning support from fellow BBC tastemakers Danny Howard and Jeremiah Asiamah. Lyrically, ‘Shy’ is inspired by real confessions of insecurity and self-acceptance from an anonymous voicemail, per Might Delete Later’s unique process.
