Today, we are excited to introduce our new Mixcast by Recovery.Issue, hailing from northern Germany near Rostock. His journey with electronic music began as a teenager in 2007. After spending over a decade exploring various musical influences at clubs and festivals, he made the decision to start mixing music for himself in 2022 as a result by the effects of the pandemic and the club shutdowns. The deep-house era around 2010 holds a special place in his heart.

Despite to recent musical trends, he has chosen to remain on slowing down, peaceful, and groovy sounds. He is dedicated to mastering the art of mixing in its original format—on vinyl—and has stayed true to this principle, ensuring that none of his sets contain a single digital track to this day. For him, this approach symbolizes a deep appreciation for the creators and the true artists behind the music.

We asked him to be the first to present a set of deep-house classics on vinyl for our channel, and he embraced the idea from the very first moment. The old records remain close to his heart and deserve to be heard more often. 🌈

Today, we are thrilled to share with you a collection of both old and new gems, inviting you on a little musical journey through time. We hope the algorithm appreciates it! 😀

As a tech veteran, Ercy seamlessly blends creativity and expertise, excelling as a composer, director, engineer, producer of audio, film, and photo, and Adobe master. His impressive portfolio includes projects for industry giants such as Lexus, General Electric, ABC Studios, and Pepsi Cola. Ercy has also collaborated with Grammy-winning artists like Rick Rubin and The Weeknd.

With his own marketing agency and over 15 years in the music industry, Ercy started his first record label in 2007. His debut studio album, "Glimpses Of Me," became a streaming sensation, followed by "Glimpses Of Me: Extended," which featured unique vocals and tracks not included in the first album. These releases propelled Ercy into a new realm of progressive techno and house music.

Technologically advanced and creatively driven, Ercy's day job as a full-time videographer and video producer showcases his limitless boundaries. Whether behind the camera or the mixing board, Ercy Mirage continues to push the envelope, creating art that resonates and inspires.
