Champirolls is a Dark Progressive project created in 2015 by French producer Julien Poujol.

He was introduced to Psytrance by friends around 2012 and was quickly captivated by the enigmatic nature of the rhythms and soundscapes. He started to compose his firsts tracks, and shortly thereafter started to learn how to DJ, creating mixes of his favorites artists and his own productions.

Since then, he has played in various local parties and private events, refining his style and developing his skills, and has had his productions signed to various labels.

Highly influenced by the energy of Hitech, the deep atmosphere of Forest, and the darkness of Dark Progressive, he is always ready to break the rules and create his own vision of Dark Prog, certain to take you deep into the abyss.

We are not interested in big names, the music is the most important thing - if the music is right then it does not matter if you are a completely new / unknown producer etc - you will get the opportunity to release your music. We are looking at moving away from the usual psy cliche sounds and production techniques and instead look towards exploring a minimal "less is more" direction. 

The goal is to become THE "go to" label for the darkest psychedelic music producers, djs and fans, in terms of the musical output and also in terms of benefits to label artists - as with Heftys current Dark Techno label "Darker Sounds".
