Our latest mix comes from brand new artist from Hungary - Algia!

Algia is predominantly known for his Dark Techno style. He has performed sets all over his home country of Hungary, and has spent the last few years perfecting this genre and curating his own label. He has a second passion however, the dark side of psychedelic music, and wouldnt miss an opportunity to play some Dark Prog at a party if the opportunity was there. 
He has now decided to produce his own style of Dark Prog, influenced by the music he has heard at various parties, using the production techniques he has learned in the past few years. 
Algia produces dark progressive trance with swampy dark soundscapes, deep low basslines and heavy driving beats.

Opening Parvati -floor @ Psychedelic Rave (Rotterdam)

This set was played in the morning of the 7th of July, 10:30 to midday, on the Kodama Stage at Masters of Puppets. It's a very intricate journey, coming down from ForestProg to PsyTechno. It took me a while to develop the tracklist, but ultimately, I was very happy with the result.
It's mainly based of very heavy, rolling and deep baselines going all the way from 145 to 130, -15bpm where I try to compensate and keep it interesting all way through.
It contains both new and old music, I had to dig into my psychedelic archives to be able to tell a consistent story. I had lots of fun creating it, and I hope you find it interesting too.

Imagirus discovered Forest - Psychedelic. Since then he experimented with Forest Psychedelic up to DarkPsy.
Through his restrictions on his eyes, his ears became very fine for this spectrum of music.
Through the past 2 year Marius created his own style and tells his stories with different Artists and Tracks.
Since 2022 Akiro and Imagirus are roommates where they build their own studio and forms there side project Dark Gremlins which is dedicated to Dark Forest and DarkPsy.

Welcome to Erebos Records created by www.soundcloud.com/Hefty which focuses mainly on releasing pitch black heavyweight driving dark progressive psy trance, although we are open to other psychedelic styles as long as they fit the Erebos Records concept......no happy shit.......ever............

We are not interested in big names, the music is the most important thing - if the music is right then it does not matter if you are a completely new / unknown producer etc - you will get the opportunity to release your music. We are looking at moving away from the usual psy cliche sounds and production techniques and instead look towards exploring a minimal "less is more" direction. 

The goal is to become THE "go to" label for the darkest psychedelic music producers, djs and fans, in terms of the musical output and also in terms of benefits to label artists - as with Heftys current Dark Techno label "Darker Sounds".
