Therefore, we start a series of compilations where we host labels whose musical vision we respect, appreciate and love in order to expand musical horizons and open minds to different soundscapes.
Zenon Records was founded by Sensient (Tim Larner) in Australia in 2003. In a very short time, it established itself as a hallmark of quality music and gathered a dedicated following. While its musical vision is diverse, it is also distinctly its own, so much so that the label's name has become synonymous with its own Psytrance sub-genre for many. Tim collected a wide range of tunes from the label's artists and woven a great story that we urge you to listen to as a whole from start to finish, because we're sure you'll just press play again.

After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records — a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward — a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers — artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track — layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.

Mit „Sleepless“ präsentiert Synaptic Impact ein treibendes Psytrance-Erlebnis, das wie ein nächtlicher Flug durch das neuronale Netz eines schlaflosen Wesens wirkt. Eingeleitet von subtilen FX-Sweeps und mystischen Atmosphären, entfaltet sich der Track schnell zu einem hypnotischen Flow aus kicklastigen Grooves und sägenden Synth-Layern.

Die Bassline pulsiert konstant und schiebt den Track entschlossen voran, während modulierte Acid-Sequenzen und sphärische Pads eine kaleidoskopische Tiefe erzeugen. Immer wieder öffnen sich neue klangliche Portale – flüsternde Vocals, Echo-Chambers und spacige Filterfahrten schaffen einen psychedelischen Strudel, der zwischen Trance und bewusstseinsveränderndem Traumzustand oszilliert.

Im Zentrum steht ein schlafloser Alien, eingebettet in ein rhythmisches Biotop aus pulsierender Energie, kosmischem Rauschen und neuronalen Störungen. Das Arrangement bleibt dabei variantenreich und dramaturgisch durchdacht: Breaks führen in schwerelose Leerräume, bevor dich die Drops wieder in Bewegung reißen – kompromisslos und voller Energie.

With “Sleepless”, Synaptic Impact delivers a driving psytrance experience that feels like a nocturnal journey through the neural network of a sleepless being. Opening with subtle FX sweeps and mystical atmospheres, the track quickly unfolds into a hypnotic flow of punchy grooves and razor-sharp synth layers.

A steady, pulsating bassline propels the piece forward, while modulated acid sequences and ethereal pads create a kaleidoscopic depth. Sound portals open throughout—whispering  voices, echo chambers, and spacey filter sweeps build a psychedelic vortex that oscillates between trance and altered states of consciousness.

At the heart of the track lies a sleepless alien, embedded in a rhythmic ecosystem of pulsating energy, cosmic noise, and synaptic distortion. The arrangement remains dynamic and well-crafted: breaks lead into weightless voids before the drops pull you back into motion—relentless and full of impact.

this time its Noob Psybot from India!!! :)

Aditya Vernekar​ aka Noob Psybot, is an Indian producer and DJ from Bombay, India. As a teen he would daydream with orchestral soundscapes in his head and was heavily influenced by black metal bands like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. In 2006 he was introduced to the world of “Psytrance”..... Finally he had found the music that he was looking for. After multiple parties and heavy exploration, he started his own music production journey in 2010 when a friend suggested that he should buy a copy of Reason 3.
After 6-7 years of learning and experimentation, he is developing his own dark progressive style as Noob Psybot, with his productions influenced a lot by “Dark Techno” and many other darker genres of music.

Expect nothing but broody atmospheres and constant driving beats and basslines!!
