The Persuader is an alias of Swedish producer Jesper Dahlbäck and is generally the outlet for Dahlbäck's deeper, house-focused material. Having just released his new album 'Skargard' on his own label Templar, we caught up with Jesper to discuss the makings of the album, the coining of his name, a past career in modelling and future developments for his record label Templar. Jesper's mix spans over more than fifteen years of Persuader productions, fusing together older tracks with new tracks taken from 'Skargard'.

Amsterdam based devotee Van Anh is a DJ pur sang with over a decade of experience to her name, making her the respected artist we get to enjoy today. Her sincere love for digging, selecting and technical mixing oozes through every vessel of her body. Although her dedication has always been around, her musical odyssey seems to really have taken a turn since her transition to vinyl. This has not only opened doors to further developing her delicate taste in music but it has given her the chance to fade deeper into the electronic music spectrum.
The name 'Van Anh', which translates to 'clouds', fits her hypnagogic magnetic way of mixing like a glove, allowing her to withdraw from any fixed-genre sets and rather resonate to the sound waves of her liking. Very much like clouds, her sound takes on multiple shapes and forms varying from deep ethereal ambient to hard uncompromising techno. Never monolithic, what makes listening to Van Anh so enjoyable is the intricate way of combining all these sounds, bridging music from the past and the present.
That she knows how to shepherd an audience is underlined by her residencies at Den Haag based The Crave and Rotterdam based Transportbedrijf. The latter is a continuation of Perron, Rotterdam's underground hotspot that has welcomed some of the biggest names in electronic music. Whether it's a warming-up, the peak of the night or a closing set, she will seamlessly move you on the dance floor. Besides from having shared the stage with several heavyweights, Van Anh also hosts her own event in Rotterdam called ISOTOOP - a platform created to explore projects and experiment with sounds as she pleases. The concept is all about channelling new expressions of creativity further into the unknown, in a genuine attempt to open people's minds to new sounds.

2021年の初動となるリリースは、2016年にYUTAがゴアトランスレーベルからリリースしたMarcus HenrikssonのUnexpressedをLDGから再販となる。

2016年当時、MarcusがYUTAのラブコールを請けTB303を始め幾多の名機を駆使して制作したアシッド且つアッパーチューンをMarcus自身のスタジオにて一発撮りした本作品は、Marcusのエモーショナルな一面が垣間見れる楽曲だ。

Reworkを担当したのはレーベルオーナーYUTAと山頂瞑想茶屋からなるユニットYuta Chaya。オリジナルトラックの空気感を引き継ぎながらもシンプルに、パッドで程よくディープなエッセンスを足し、音の抜き差しで作り上げる展開が心地良いミニマルな一曲に仕上がった。

LDG's first release of 2021 is a re-release of “Marcus Henriksson / Unexpressed” which was originally released by YUTA in 2016 on the Goa Trance label.

This track was the result of YUTA's passionate request for a track from Marcus and was programmed using a plethora of hardware including the legendary TB-303. It shows a rare glimpse of Marcus' emotional side.

The B side includes a minimal techno rework by Yuta Chaya, a unit consisting of LDG label owner YUTA and Sancho Meiso Chaya.

eRee started her DJ career in 2008.
She has been playing mainly at techno parties, exploring breakbeats, abstract, and various genres in Japan.
In 2022, she started her own label, Neophocaena Record, a project to create a deep and dope world beyond the boundaries of techno.

In the same year, she released her first album Amortentia, consisting of original tracks, simultaneously on digital and cassette tape.
