Hello again! I know it's late for a christmas/holiday themed song, but here's my next release! This time I wanted to bring out the feeling of still being stuck in the pandemic despite already being the second holiday season we go through with it (possibly the third if you're listening in the future, or 4th if humanity is this terrible). Whatever the feel or mood, I always hope for your enjoyment of this piece.

Also known as Omega. This song remixes MAX 300, which is a Dance Dance Revolution classic from 6th Mix (MAX). The original track has been remixed many times over by both fans and Bemani's sound team alike, which shows just how much love this track has gotten.

But what happens when the boss song goes to the dark side? Well, strange things happen...

This is where things start to get a little weird here. This song was inspired by VerTex by ZigZag, which debuted on In The Groove (the first).

What I understand from the original was supposed to be a sort of mysterious song with a pretty unsettling aura. It had very few melodies if any, making it very unpredictable and as intended, more likely, a little bit scary for those unprepared.

I only took in the weird vibe it seems here, cause while the beginning originally made me continuously say VerTex instead of V3CT0R for a while, I think what I managed to do over time managed to differentiate this enough from the original that it becomes its own product.

The funny thing is that I tend to make a sort of musical adventure here and in here there is no exception. If you listen throughout, you'll be treated to some pretty interesting shifts and tonalities as well as BPM changes on top of that, only to be rewarded at the end with what I hope is a worthwhile payoff.

Summer's likely coming and it's time for some summer vibes! Last time I did something similar (that I remember) was Aquatic Beauty, but the story I tried to portray musically was quite different than what I'm showing here. The song is a lot more relaxed than most other tracks, but what sets it apart is the more childish and playful nature that it has. It is more plucky and percussive, with a few lush pads in the background. Also, can't forget the waves and seagulls at the beginning. Gorgeous!

I apologize if I'm offending some part of Japanese culture with the Kimonos, I just feel I like the colors like this and don't want to change them for now.

Risks of getting cancelled aside, I enjoyed taking a look at traditional Japanese music and instruments and going on a bit of a ride with the many wind, percussive and string instruments that they have. The Shinobue is my favorite wind for how beautiful it sounds and the Tsuzumi is one of the more memorable percussive instruments that I managed to hear in my entire life. I've heard it in some of the Pokemon Conquest Soundtrack, it's been in Sakura (by RevenG (aka Naoki Maeda)), and I've even heard it in a couple of modern DDR songs but I can't list them cause I don't remember their titles right now.

Either way, hope you enjoy this ride, I actually did some scale switching in the song. Just some small details in the background to spice things up.

Rhythm Game Alias: Griffinite & S4IBR

After seeing a rather supercharged year, I thought it'd be a good idea to just wind down and relax to the night sky. The temperature is cooling down and it's suitable for a little romantic adventure.

Seems two dragons are just calling out to each other across the night sky, wondering where they are and if they'll ever meet again. The song is in itself charming as it does have tinges of pain I've hid around.

The aliases Griffinite and S4IBR reference to the melancholic (Griffinite) feel and the 8-Bit vibes reminiscent of the 80s and 90s (S4IBR). However... who does truly carry such a deep and wistful feeling?

I promise the intent is certainly not woke "Climate change bro!", but more of a superhero theme song that I kinda came across in one of my millions of dreams... The chorus (which is the part that repeats twice) was the literal only part I remember from the dream, but it felt so heroic that I wanted to make it into an arcade-length song.

The title was going to be "League of Climate Heroes" but then... you'll see in a few months exactly why I desisted from using that name.

I honestly wasn't sure what to do for the Song Art, one part of my mind wanted the silhouettes of several anthropomorphic dragons, but then we have both 5akura 7ree Danc3 and a fast forward to the future and then I realize that I'm better off just making the heroes the literal parts of nature that morph the earth, such as the sun, water in the form of rain and snow, wind in the form of tornadoes, and the warm earth in the form of the volcanoes (A nice tribute too to my favorite biome: forested mountains).

Honestly, along with [Future Sight Attack alert], this song is one of those songs that were made literally almost a year ago. I already had the release date fixed for September 18th, and it'd also be important for the aliases EreViGS, RainDerg, Griffinite and SineDino as their character and designs get to be revealed in this one song art.

That is exactly why I wanted to let this song have nearly an entire year's worth of time before release. I was gonna do more, like... a literal animation on YouTube, but the amount of work that would do would distract me very badly from what I need to improve on most, which is making music ~~and actually getting my life on road to stability~~.

Even so, the Song Art was in literal "permanently pending" hell as I took my sweet ass time to make the designs, make the positions that the dragons would be displayed in (which did not come up perfectly in the different formats), and to be honest digitalizing these four dragons was literally what took the most time. The logo is supremely generic and undeveloped (but to be honest does a decent enough job), and my alias is awfully simplified considering I just copy paste the same EreViGS logo whenever applicable or just make something different and probably impossible to comprehend due to how small and hard to see it is.

I honestly feel that the song has changed a lot in it's place in my mind. This was gonna be a tribute to my friend, and then I had a few friends later on which honestly felt like there were actually heroes among us, aka, true friends, but as those friendships fizzled out and the hype died down except for that one best friend I've had for almost 3 whole years now <3, the song just kinda fell into obscurity.

The song was even going to be released on his hatchday, even have his character, but I opted to just portray the idea of how powerful friendship is by developing (one of) the internal world(s) where Erebus (EreViGS) resides in, especially as online friendships tend to be unpredictable, but to be honest, as of writing (early 2023), I am wholesomely grateful to have him as a friend.

This also means I'd be further developing the aliases that I use. Sort of starts to make this feel like I'm role-playing as different characters, but to be honest, I feel this makes for a much more deeper story if I somehow manage to glue things together. But to be honest, I like protecting those and the online identities of those I care about (including those that made enemies of me).

Meanwhile, I barely talked about the song at all, but I wanted this to be a very fast song with energetic melodies and breakdowns. This song took a while to make if I recall, and used a lot of instruments which creates various different textures and flavors that the song has throughout it's development.

This is also the second time again I use brass if we look in relativity to release dates, but to be honest I didn't expect I'd be using brass again with League of Climate Champions. This also marks the highest BPM I've used so far, beating out The Torment's 200BPM.

There's a lot I've said about this but to be honest, this is *the* most anticipated release I've got for myself considering it's been a long way through it's development and the history of the purpose the song has had. I'm glad I released this and if someone enjoys it like I do, I'm glad for that.

Also, as a final little thing, I love you, my best friend. Keep being as heroic as you've always been for me. You know who you are ;)

I've lost count of how many times I actually laughed at this track. This was made as a little joke because some songs just repeat the same phrase over and over again and it sometimes degrades the quality of a song.

Repetition is fine when well done, but it sometimes doesn't work. What happens though when this repetition is taken to extreme lengths? Take a listen to see what you make of the results.

Rhythm Game Alias: EreViGS Underground

This is a sort of experiment here. The origin of the song came as I was upset of feeling like I don't have a place in the music industry at all, especially as I feel I get blocked by other artists for no reason at all. Then I see some artists getting to live the dream by collaborating with artists they admired and modeled their style after.

I don't get to live that dream. Naoki Maeda is one of those artists that I admired most as he secretly made like half of the early in-house DDR soundtrack and yet it almost seemed like it was different people making the songs due to the different aliases and styles the songs take. A lot of DDR artists also followed this culture and it may be seen today still as Konami carries over older songs onto DDR.

I felt blocked, like an obstacle for other people, and ultimately, felt that other people were just better than me. I don't expect to ever find myself collaborating with other artists or seeing my music in a rhythm game thanks to the choices of third parties. But I'll keep marching on.

So, I made a track and submitted it to Dawsome Village's sound ceremony. While it didn't make the cut, I have a few things to be impressed about:
- This track was composed, mixed and mastered in 3 hours. That's 1 hour for each 30 seconds of play time.
- I got some good and contructive feedback from others that should give me some ideas as to what to do for my next tracks.

After all, I'm pleased and found the experience to be worthwhile. The track will be released early here so it can be featured on Dawsome's playlist, just keep in mind that this isn't the canonical release date :P

Hello! I'm EreViGS (S.A.C.R.E.D.), and I make Rhythm-Game music with the hopes to bridge the large variety this subset of music has to the world!

My main focus is to make some experimental or out of the ordinary rhythms, beats, melodies, chords or musical sequences to orchestrate pieces of which at least would be in line with what I want for each song. While I may not be the best, I aim to at least give my best touch to each piece I produce!
