Original.  Samples fairly obvious.  Strictly done in Reason 4, instrumental.  Dance music taking over the scene about 10 years too late.  Had fun doing it though.

All original.  My version of something soundtracky.  Free ice cream cone to anybody that guesses which movie the spoken word samples come from.

Hatechapel - 13 - Subterranean Border Dispute

Step 1 was to attempt this while drunk.  Step two was to attempt this the following day while hungover.  This was recorded on day 3.  Obviously not an original.  Thunder & rain came from a relaxation CD.  Unfortunately, the Mesa doesn't throw out screechy feedback as well as it used to, but I gave it my best & the crunch is still there.  Beat & bass done in Reason 4, ported to Ableton and multi-tracked the guitars and vox.  That is my voice, but it had some processing.

Hatechapel - 14 - Raining Blood

Hatechapel is a one man junk project I do in my spare time, of which I have almost none.  

Digital stuff is Reason 5, Ableton Live and various VSTs, interfacing a Presonus Firepod, Akai MPD26, Oxygen 49, and a Novation Launchpad.

Most of the analog stuff was done with an 89 Jackson soloist through a Mesa Mark III from 1988 or 98.  dbx 266XL comp/gate, 85 Hamer Chapparal was also used here and there, along with a Shure 55SH Series II and an MXL R144 ribbon mic for vocals, toilet flushes and other various aural sundries.

I do not play bass well, therefore I program Reason to handle all of that.  I do not play drums at all, nor do I program them well.  So Reason is handling that too, sort of.
