En helt unik musikalsk udgivelse og oplevelse

Med projektet "FLYGTNINGESTEMMER" fortæller flygtninge fra Bosnien, Syrien, Iran og Palæstina deres historie gennem sange, der efterfølgende er blevet fortolket af 12 danske sangere og sangerinder.

- Jeg har ikke oplevet noget så meningsfyldt i de sidste 20 år af mit liv som tilblivelsen af dette projekt, udtaler en af de medvirkende flygtninge, der tidligere har været udsat for frygtelig tortur under fængslinger og oplevet talrige smertelige krigsoplevelser. 

De 12 sange handler om alt fra hemmelig fængsling, tab af venner i krig, tortur, flugt, traumer, håb og menneskelighed. 

Oplev projektet live
Med hjælp fra rækken af kunstnere og producere ligger et helt album nu klar til udgivelse, og projektet kan også opleves live, i første omgang blev sangene opført årets Spot Festival men de 6. juni kan sangene opleves i musikken hus i Aalborg. Den 7. juni ved det kommende Flygtningemuseum i Oksbøl samt den 28. juni på Kløften Festival i Haderslev. 

De medvirkende sangere er: Søs Fenger, Sys Bjerre, Freya, Tue West, Julie Berthelsen, Bryan Rice, Julie Maria, Sara Grabow, Ida Gard, Jonas Rendbo, Frederik Vedersø (The Eclectic Moniker) og Steffen Westmark (The Blue Van).

- Det har været en fantastisk oplevelse at være en del af dette projekt. Man mærker varmen fra alle involverede til trods for de tragiske historier der fortælles, siger musiker og sangerinde Julie Maria.

Initiativtageren, musikeren og psykologen Gert Barslund har i tæt samarbejde med Rehabiliteringscenter For Torturofre (RCT), ønsket at sætte fokus på, hvordan det er at leve som flygtning med de traumer der følger efter krig og flugt.

Producerne på albummet er Kasper Falkenberg, Tore Nissen, Boe Larsen, Jonas Krag, Jacob Andersson og Per Lange.
