SPROUT SESSIONS #129 - LEONARDIS (Calls and Puts Records)

Fellow gastropods, it's old mate Gus the Snail here, and let me tell you about my latest mix. Prepare yourselves for a slithering sonic journey through the vibrant meadows of melodic techno. Here is a place where beats bounce high and then get dark and broody when they land. A true voyage of diversity in electronic music. 

But don't take my slimy word for it, let's dive in and explore the hidden treasures:

Track 1: This one starts slow, like me inching towards a juicy tomato. But don't underestimate its delicate slither, for soon the beat explodes like a meteor shower of pure, unadulterated percussive goodness! Think laser beams shooting from snail tentacles, rainbows erupting from slime trails – it's good like that.

Track ID 2: Hold onto your antennae! This track is a whirlwind of emotions. One moment you'll be floating on a cloud of dreamy melodies, the next you'll be diving into a deep, pulsating bassline that'll make your heart thump like a drum solo on a snail's shell. Number 16 is ready to be played at high volume and this time we've invited Sean Dexter. 
Sean Dexter has been a DJ since the mid 80’s and has played in the USA and Canada. BayAreaBeatbox was Founded in 2011 by Sean Dexter on Pure Radio Holland and is currently on Underground Kollektive Radio as a 3 hour show that has featured guests from around the world like Paul Johnson, James Curd, DJ Vivona, David Duriez, Jay Tripwire and many others. In 2020 BayAreaBeatbox Live was launched on Mixcloud doing live broadcasts and in 2021 BayAreaBeatbox live started a monthly residency on the legendary underground station Fantasy FM in the UK. Beatbox Records was Launched in 2016 featuring productions from Sean Dexter. Along with his own label Sean has produced tracks and remixed artists on Selekta, Plusquam, Red Robot, Oh That’s Good Music, Villa65, SoulJack Digital, and the famed Deepen Sound in Vancouver Canada.
Sean’s music has been remixed by Jay Tripwire, Vernon Douglas, George JJ Flores, Sen-Sei , Jason Merle, Henry Navarro and others. His dj mixes have been featured on podcasts and radio mix shows around the world.
BayAreaBeatbox was featured in the legendary Chicago House Music Magazine 5Mag
