One of the strangest and most fascinating aspects of ambient music is the way it can sometimes morph from sonic wallpaper -where it basically functions as a soundtrack- into an agent of transformation, allowing the reshaping of the perceived world around the listener. Some of Mathias' albums have had this effect on me before, and the Darklight Quest definitely falls into this territory. gterma is happy to shine a light on this now mostly forgotten treasure, originally released as a DIY CDr in 1998.

The Nebulae live session took place in February 2016 at the Zeiss Planetarium in Bochum, Germany and presented performances by Ultimae artists with a special dome projection by Tobias Wiethoff.

Martin Nonstatic opened his live performance with "Into the Nebulae" a brand new work to introduce a spaced out exploration of his Granite album. All tracks were fully reworked to create a vaster atmosphere to fill the dome. You'll recognise the spirit, the story is something else!

Having Had an Extensive Conservative Education while bearing in BloodStream quite a Wild Sexy Genetics, grew listening all kinds of music and every year we presented our piano clases students on prestiged stages, throughtout a lifetime, had gathered extensive musical memories for both mental images mood memorires and associative thinking for sound bit progressions. My music is Soundtrack must, yet a bit out of the typical most comercial Outlook. As of now I explore here, copyrighted a few near 100 textures and a few many lyricless heart felt songs that I will reload with recent tech implementation. Herbie Hancock,  Mell, Chitose Hajime ,Sa Dingding, Catherine Lara, Charles Aznavour, and many more.
Eric Mouquet is also founder of Deep Forest, the pioneering ethno-ambient electronica band. He is on the cusp of a musical renaissance that promises to explore new directions, combinations and influences in ambient world music.
