The Cello, the 'self,' offers one final, "resolved" statement. The Kalimba, the 'memory,' echoes with a last 'crystalline' chime—the final 'trace' "fading from your lips." The "mechanical" world is gone, the "celestial" vision has faded, and all that remains is the 'ambient stone'—the room, now at peace, transformed by the journey as it fades to silence.
