The Untouchables is the Belgian duo of Kay & Nitrox, crafting dark, dub-heavy drum and bass since the early 2000s. Their sound blends deep halfstep, tribal rhythms, and distorted bass, with releases on labels like Samurai Music, Rupture, and Renegade Hardware.

Kay brings oldskool flair and sharp percussion, while Nitrox, co-founder of Universal Project, carries a legacy of iconic releases across the DnB scene.

In his own words: 
"This mix was recorded spontaneously in February 2025 and was simply intended to have fun with some new music; it was never meant to be published, just made for myself and close friends. But although it was never created for a public audience, it marks a small milestone in my work, as it is the first mix to feature a few „tracks“ that were solely made by myself (besides some upcoming collaborations with GUNSTON). Other artists featured in this journey are (in alphabetical order): AMIT, ANTAGONIST, BRENDON MOELLER, ESCHER, GOVERNMENTFUN, GUNSTON, HERON FLOW, MAUQ, MULTICAST DYNAMICS, NEED FOR MIRRORS, QUARTZ, TELLUS, and UNEVEN.

ELUSIVE ELEMENTS liked the mix so much that he asked me if he could release it through his own Mix-Series. London-based dubstep, drum and bass, experimental bass and ambient music producer & DJ, Sentient, has carved himself a niche in bass music with crushing, genre-spanning soundscapes, moving fluidly between various styles and sounds.

 Inspired by horror game soundtracks with heavy, crushing atmospheres, his love of classical and hardcore music, and the idea of dissociation and abstraction from the everyday, Sentient’s distinctive sound fuses these influences resulting in a mesmerising blend of gloomy and oppressive sonic landscapes that aim to move the listener to an intangible plain outside of their field of vision.

 Signed to Bristol-based Foundation Audio (UK) as well as XCPT music (IT), QEONE (DE), DNO Records (UK), Dub Colony (CH), WobWob! (DE), ENDZ (UK), Locus Sound (UK) and LDH Records (UK), and with a monthly radio show on Mode London (UK), Sentient continues to establish himself as a new sound in the underground music scene.
