Rising star Innellea demonstrates his prowess with four diverse, powerful cuts.
In a short time Innellea has made a significant impact. His production is inventive and progressive, gracing dance floors with emotional depth, considered arrangement and pumping rhythms.
His EP opens with ‘Confronted Reality’, which is driven by an oscillating low end, complemented by an emotive melody and a huge riff - tinged with drama throughout. Next up it’s the title track, a morose cut that utilises breakbeat-esque rhythms, piano keys and warped vocals. On the flip The Loss Of Hope’ features beautifully composed, trance-esque layers drift over a driving rhythm - lifting spirits and invoking the Heaven within. Finally, ‘Irreversible’ takes us into the darkness, with spinetingling melodies and hard-hitting drums ...

Sidney Charles returns to AVOTRE with 'Cave Rave', an EP which finds the Berliner in finest form. This is a package that will satisfy the broadest range of underground house music fans and DJs, with remixes from Darius Syrossian, Russ Yallop, and Kalyde.

'Cave Rave' is classic Sidney, and has been a major not-so-secret weapon in his and AVOTRE label boss Santé's sets for a few months now. An upbeat, rolling groove combines with stabbed synths and an acid bassline, giving the track a peaktime, hands in the air quality that has been a firm staple in Sidney's latest productions.

Darius Syrossian and Russ Yallop also appear on the EP, remixing two of Sidney's tracks, 'Housin The Rave' and 'Rumpshaker' respectively, and turning in some highly idiosyncratic and signature work. Darius' remix has all the components that have made him such an underground fixture of late, with a jacking, percussive roll to it. Russ's remix is a more techy, dubby, stripped back affair, sure to satisfy the late night ravers.

Bristol based Kalyde is on 'Cave Rave' remix duties, turning the track into un upfront, UK Techno track. This emerging producer has already seen his tracks getting regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM, and with such a tough, recognisable sound, it is easy to see this remix being the surprise choice in this package.

Well, 2016 was a bit of a mixed bag wasn't it? It's certainly a year that I wont forget in a hurry - for all sorts of reasons - good and bad. However the one common denominator throughout pretty much all of it has been music. Whether its what you turn too to make you happy or whether its the cause of what occasionally makes you sad, there is no denying that music is the one thing that brings us all together to share what is best about being a human. So here's to sharing and caring. We can all do more of both in 2017 but I want to sign off for the holidays by saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all for caring about my music. In 2015 Artbat made a loud statement and asserted themselves with a ‘Mandrake’ EP released on Definition:Music. The very first effort from this Ukrainian electronic project resulted in critical acclaim and warm reception by the local and foreign audience. It&#39;s powerful, full-bodied and hypnotizing sound won respect from many DJs of worldwide fame, including Umek, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin and Sasha.

Artbat was formed by two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev - Artur and Batish. Their portfolio builds upon a series of about 10 successful releases that charted globally and conquered numerous dancefloors all over the world. Such tracks as ‘Mandrake’, ‘Saltation’ and ‘Chivvy’, released by Definition:Music, paved their way to the international popularity. Though their major step forward – a release on Diynamic Records run by a world star DJ Solomun - is yet ahead.

Aside from Artbat’s popularity, the sheer amount of gigs in their tour schedule has skyrocketed too. Their DJ sets always deliver a wall of unrestrained energy and musical revelation. Artur and Batish fancy surprising their public with brand new releases, IDs and white-labels, unpredictable tracks and exclusive promos – their live shows can be compared to sharing and receiving in return.

In Summer 2016 Artbat’s touring geography has expanded not only along the ranks of the best Ukrainian clubs, but successfully extended the nightlife world capital and club epicenter Ibiza. The Ukrainian electronic duo’s name has frequently appeared on the lineup at the Destino night club.
