Let's get a little spooky! What if you opened a tiny dancer ballerina music box only to find out it was haunted? Using music from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and Saint-Saens' Danse Bacchanale, The Haunted Music Box will take your band through a journey following your ballerina to exotic locations and past demon-possessed swans, wondering if you'll ever get back! Written to be both accessible and entertaining, The Haunted Music Box features scoring that will make smaller ensembles, rebuilding groups or bands with challenging instrumentation still sound full and relevant.

Demon-possessed swans... who knew?!?

Written to sound bigger than it is, The Haunted Music Box is completely playable with only Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet, Trombone/Baritone, Tuba, Battery Percussion and limited Front Ensemble parts. All additional parts (Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Bass Clarinet, Horn) are optional and allow you to build the instrumentation based on your group. The Advanced Clarinet part can be used by your top players to help develop their range above the break while reinforcing your woodwind section with this additional color. The trumpet solo in the second movement has been scored for any instrument, so you can pick your top performer!
