Meine nächste Session meiner langjährigen DJ Mix Reihe ist fertig. 1x im Jahr als besonderer DJ Mix, da ich mich für meinen Geburtstage ein wenig musikalisch auslebe. Es kommt dabei immer heraus, was spontan aus mir musikalisch rauskommen möchte. Von daher kommt es immer anders als man denkt. Der Plan war ein anderer, aber ich bin da gelandet und ich bin super happy mit dieser Mix Session. Ich hoffe sehr, dass euch der Part 55 der Serie auch gefällt.

My next session in my long-running DJ mix series is ready. Once a year as a special DJ mix, because I want to live out a little musically for my birthday. It always comes out, what spontaneously wants to come out of me musically. So it always turns out differently than you think. The plan was different, but I ended up there and I'm super happy with this mix session. I really hope you enjoy part 55 of the series too.

Lange wurde darüber gesprochen, und dann ging es plötzlich ganz schnell – die Idee wurde zur Realität. Zwei Musikfreaks haben sich zusammengetan, um gemeinsam an einem coolen DJ-Set zu feilen. Eine spannende Herausforderung, denn keiner wusste genau, wie der andere musikalisch und technisch an die Sache herangeht. Doch eines war klar: Unsere Leidenschaft für Musik verbindet uns, und so war schon vorab sicher, dass die Mix Night ein Riesenspaß wird.

Jetzt ist das Ergebnis da, und wir hoffen, ihr habt beim Anhören genauso viel Freude wie wir beim Mixen!

Aus einer spontanen Weinlaune heraus kam noch die Idee, ein paar Worte über den jeweils anderen zu sagen. Hier das Ergebnis:

Ich folge Arnie seit mehr als fünf Jahren auf SoundCloud und Instagram – und von Anfang an fiel mir auf, wie detailverliebt er in allem ist, was mit Musik zu tun hat. Ob es um die Songauswahl, die Mixparts oder die Technik geht: Alles muss perfekt sein! Er strukturiert sich extrem gut und bereitet sich akribisch auf seine Sets vor – genau das schätze ich an ihm. Und das hört man auch! Seine Liebe zum Detail macht seine Sets besonders. Sein Musikgeschmack ist breit gefächert, und das ist auch gut so – denn er hat einfach einen außergewöhnlich guten Geschmack. Mich holt er damit jedes Mal ab. Kurz gesagt: WELL DONE, MR. ARNIE!

Als ich in Zandvoort beim Sandy Hill Chill zum ersten Mal seinen Sound hörte, wusste ich sofort: Der Typ hat es drauf!
Damals war ich selbst noch weit entfernt von meinen ersten DJ-Schritten, aber Eric hat mich inspiriert. Für mich ist er ganz klar einer der besten Live-DJs in unserem Umfeld – und obendrein ein super sympathischer Kerl. Sein Sound ist energiegeladen, abwechslungsreich und einfach mitreißend. Er hat ein unfassbares Gespür für Musik.
