Anjunabeats veteran Damion Houchen, aka Genix, unveils the ‘Praha EP’.

A label mainstay for over a decade, Damo is behind some of Anjunabeats’ best-known tracks. ‘Run’, ‘Arrival’ (with Sunny Lax) and his super-collaboration ‘All In’ with Fatum, Jaytech & Judah are all outstanding moments in our discography.

Damo’s sound has evolved over the years, but his abilities as a DJ and a producer continue to impress. His Anjunabeats Worldwide 09 compilation was a triumph, cementing his place at the forefront of modern tech-trance. Damo’s most impressive performance to date saw him being awarded a Guinness World Record for the highest DJ set on land at Mount Everest’s base camp. 

The ‘Praha EP’ features two previously unreleased tracks from Damo’s show-stopping ABGT350 set, alongside his most recent release ‘Dance It Out’.

2021 will be a big year for Damo. Genix’s ‘Praha EP’ is out now on Anjunabeats.

This track originally started off under the "Progressive Soul" theme as part 5. It brought with it the bliss and the soul, but for me, there was an element of groove missing, so I decided not to take it there... 

Instead, the ambience of a park with cheery birds, gives the listener much needed elements of summer, joy and bliss - something all human beings are in need of right now.
