On January 15th, Monday morning 2 o’clock, Kalipo played his latest live set on the Heinz Hopper floor of Kater Blau, Berlin. Laced with a couple of new and unreleased tunes, the set delivered on the sweet spot Kalipo is infamous for: dreamy, but with urgency. Mesmerizing, but social. In the words of Bukowski: “We're all going to die… That alone should make us love each other“

James Harcourt had his first release two month ago on Parquet Recordings with two tracks "Ultraviolet" and "Infrared". Both are very straight, technoid but playful as well. This makes it very special with an high recognition value. He is based in the UK and an established underground techno/progressive producer, but more recently an international DJ. He produced one of Beatport's biggest selling tracks in "Call & Response" as well as produced M.I.K.E's favourite remix of the Push classic "Universal Nation". Releases and remixes have been featured on Renaissnace, Audio Therapy, Baroque, Distinctive, Underwater, Pure Pacha and Popof's Form Records among others.

After Martin Kleinert was born in the very north of Germany music already became important to him at a very young age. Inspired by electronic rhythms of the early 90's he didn't hesitate to get
his hands on his first Technics MK2 turntables, which was the tipping point to start off his career as a Deejay. The one-of-a-kind movement happening in the scene and german clubs back these days triggered and developed his creativity and sense of expressing himself through the art of electronic dance music by playing tunes he loves mixed in an unique and interesting way.
His burning ambition and listening to his inner voice saying that there maybe is something more made him come up with his first own productions by creating remarkable deep and rhythmic beats and sounds that just make you want to move. For Martin the progress of creating a piece of art just from a simple idea or a single sound is still one of the greatest gifts on earth.

As a DJ I always played for the people and it is always my goal to give the audience the best time i can. There are situations in a DJ career where the sound you are used to play doesn't feel right which can be because of the setting, the time, the DJ before or just the mood of the people. I was always one of those who reacted to those things when I was playing and not one who stayed in his comfortzone instead. It happened that people where really into it and also fans of my previous seasonal mixtapes liked it. In the last time  I was frequently asked where it is possible to listen 'the other stuff' I was playing and I have to admit it was not possible. 
Therefore I am launching at new mixtape series called 'ADDITION' where all of this is finding a home. I am a bit nervous about starting this project as I am still in love with the more melodic and emotional music I play in my seasonal mixtapes and will of course not stopping to do them as the feedback is so positive. 
Here it is 'ADDITION ONE' a very clubby and progressive set, I hope you enjoy it.
