We're starting another week with a beautiful mix by Australian DJ OLIIV. Based in Sydney, OLIIV is a DJ best known for her versatile sweeps of melodic and deep grooves. A vessel for the avante-garde, her unique sound is always grounded in authenticity.

A lover of electronic music from a young age, it wasn’t until 2019 that she started the journey as an artist. In a short time, OLIIV’s musical passions have earnt her a residency with Return To Rio, whilst also hosting club nights as label co-founder of The Fan Club Collective. She has curated podcasts that have been featured on international platforms and radio stations, as well as running her own podcast series Fan Club Friends. She is also the Music Director and co-coordinator for Neomenia - a Sydney based boutique festival.

Regularly supporting some of the biggest names in the industry and with some international gigs on the horizon, there is an exciting future ahead for OLIIV.

Over the years we have had the pleasure to develop a friendship with Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation. 

As huge fans of the group, a collaboration to have them play at Robot Heart at Burning Man was always a dream, if an impossible one.

This year at Burning Man, just in time for the inaugural Heart & Soul sessions from Robot Heart and Thievery Corporation's 20th anniversary, we finally had the honor of hosting Thievery Corporation on the Playa.  Three years in the making, the product of serendipity, determination and a lot of team work, here is that amazing, unannounced sunset performance at the Robot Heart camp before an audience of thousands of burners. Thank you Dave Geller, Elliot Dunwoody, Pascal Pharmacon and the 18-person team from Thievery Corporation for helping make our collective dream come true!

After uploading his first set on Soundcloud, a completely unexpected booking made music more than only an amusement to the twenty-year-old guy from south west Germany. In a short space of time, multiple blogs like trndmusik.de were responsible for some traffic on his Soundcloud page and brought him in contact with a community that he immediately fell in love with. While the idea of sharing some good moments with like-minded people at home was essential in the beginning, Balu played a lot of gigs in 2013 and became a popular member of the local club scene. Playing warm-up sets for quite appreciated artists like Niconé, Daniel Bortz and Kollektiv Ost as well as some bigger festival gigs, inspired him to melodize his experiences by concentrating on his first own productions in collaboration with his fellow Max Bungert. The Idea behind the name “Monsieur Balu” is simple. It’s all about emotions. While different musical styles always ensure variation, this point must always be guaranteed. Keeping this fact in mind and combining it with his youthful levity, he dismisses everything around him during his performances and gives his full attention to his passion; music!

Erica Jobe formerly known as Erica Rhone continues to be one of the busiest female djs.  Born in North Carolina, Erica spent her early childhood mixing R&B & hip-hop tapes for friends.  Inspired by the ability to move people through sound & vibration.  Erica is firmly rooted in the belief that music is a worldly language we all speak without moving our lips.

In 2007, she landed her first DJ stint at the legendary Cielo NYC.  Following on from that she stepped into the spotlight playing at some of the world’s most renowned clubs, festivals and hospitality hotspots.

Erica has landed lengthy DJ residencies at W Hotel Maldives, W Hotel Amman Jordan, Long Beach Resort Mauritius, and SantAnna Mykonos.  She's also enjoying her previous performances & collaborations at Jenja Bali, Pacha HK, Attica SIN, the legendary Burning Man Festival USA, KM5 Ibiza, House of Yes NYC, Up & Down NYC and Output NYC to name a few.  Erica’s mixing skills are always in demand.
