Twigs & Yarn have a new single out now for streaming on Flau Records!

Sparse rhythm, a driving swell of guitar, and airy vocal layers bring out a familiar T&Y ambience, but this song evokes a haunting feel with a spooky bounce you can dance to. With a jumbling of cut up vocal lines Yuurei wanders through the nonsensical like an apparition and materializes for a moment with its only discernible lyrics: The State of Terrorism. さあさあ。。。それは幽霊. (Come now. It is a ghost.)

This song is one of several in the works for their upcoming project Hungry Ghost. It was mastered by Shawn Hatfield aka Twerk. I've been working a lot with samples recently. Mostly just making quite short instrumental hip-hop-style stuff. Such experimentation yielded this remix of Masayoshi Fujita's 'Snow Storm' (from his album 'Stories')
