I couldn't really express my feelings. So, here is my piano telling my story to you.

Early Mourning

Hello, everyone! It's been awhile since I last uploaded a song here. I really missed doing song covers and I'm sure that I'll do more during my summer vacation. :D

I loved Pitch Perfect and this song made me and friends love Anna Kendrick even more. I couldn't do the cups version so I played the ukulele instead. Haha!

"I Wouldn't Mind" by Ourselves the Elves is one of my all-time favorite songs on the entire planet! I wanted to do a song cover since I first heard this song but I don't know the chords. XD Some of the chords in this song cover were changed because I don't know how to translate the guitar chords to ukulele chords (like B5 and A5).

Like A Fool (Cover)

I just turned twenty-six yesterday! Woo-hoo! 26 on 26! Haha! 

This poem was inspired by Switchfoot's song 24. I promised myself that I'll make a poetry on my 26th birthday and heck yeah I did! XD

Twenty-six minutes pass nine o’ clock on the twenty-sixth day of the ninth month of the year is when life begins to unravel its different shades of browns and reds like the autumn leaves when it begins to fall. 

A B♭ (B flat) is the twenty-sixth note on the piano and though it seems to play a slightly melancholic tune, it’s also a note which could bring depth to a score... it seems like serendipity; like a brief moment encountered in a split second -– like a “de ja vu” or a chance meeting with a person you can’t seem to have but dreamed about for so long. 

We don’t usually look at a clock and wait for the twenty-sixth second; though it’s an even number, it’s quite odd… but nevertheless, it’s still special. 

Why? 

Maybe it makes you reminisce about the past; 

maybe it’s about your favorite page in your favorite book; 

or maybe it’s just your birhtday and you’re just celebrating life in its full glory.

"The Show" is me in a song. Yep, I'm still an awkward potato though I'm turning 27 this year. Haha! 

This is my first full song cover this year, and man... I missed playing the uke and singing my favorite songs! Hopefully I could post more this year and maybe I'll have a duet with one of my friends soon. Let's keep our fingers crossed! :D

My grandfather's cousin is the one I considered as my Dad when he was still alive. He made me play Henry Mancini's "Moon River" every time I played the piano when I was younger. Whenever I hear this song, I feel like he's just sitting next to me.

I was inspired to do a piano improvisation because of RADWIMPS' tracks in Kimi No Na Wa's (Your Name) OST (Guys, you should watch that animated movie; it's one of the best!!! :D), and maybe I just also felt like playing the piano a while ago. It has been weeks since I didn't touch my piano; I'm glad I finally had a sudden urge to play it again. :)

I couldn't sleep as I am too excited for an event I'll be attending later. Doing a song cover never fails to make me calmer, but the song cover should be a sad song. I love this song by RADWIMPS. I first listened to it when I was in college. :) Hope you like it!
