John Wakefield is a classically trained percussionist. Among other places, he performs in the orchestra with the LA Opera. Besides hitting drums, though, John likes to unwind by punching a bag in his drumming/boxing gym. Part of the draw of the boxing gym is all of the percussive sounds and rhythms he finds there. John has started to combine these two passions by training professional boxers using the lessons that he’s taken from his expertise in percussion. -- Produced by Eric Drachman

    My father was an incredible story teller, this weekend is the one year anniversary of his death and I wanted to spend this time telling a story to commemorate his life now that he is "Out of Range." (He is featured in a snipet of archival tape from when I was 9. 
 This story looks at the concept of the effects of being "Out of Range."
Does it causes a sense of regret and failure? or is it comforting,
and can it make one feel more human?   (12 hour in additional paragraph was split into two, reconstructed and posed as questions.)

    Fred Sugerman founded Medicine dance which he performs and teaches.

    Alan is a professional musician and teacher.

    84 year old Elizabeth Coca, was "Sister Gerard" for 18 years. When she left the Convent and became "Sister Spontaneity." She got married and had a child. She has worked as a teacher and taught over 50,000 students over 64 years. Now as a prolific performance artist, she gives one woman shows where  all of her shows start "Out of Range" with the word "Beyond."
