Long day at work, came home and decided to record this song.  Harpsichord (with and without muting) and piano were fun to play with.

What the hell happened....
Just one of those days where everything seems to fall to you know what, so here's a song to brighten it up!  This was improvised with piano and voice being recorded simultaneously.  The bass echoes the piano bass notes, and the rocksichord echoes parts of the piano treble--these were arranged afterwards. 

What the Hell Happened... - (March 14 2014)

Maelstrom of Light. Improvised piano recorded first, then improvised flute melody and then improvised volume/manner of playing, then improvised clarinet melody then improvised volume, then improvised oboe melody.

Genesis -- (June 21 2014)

"In quantum physics—the scientific study of the nature of physical reality—there is plenty of room for interpretation within the realm of what is known. The most popular mainstream interpretation, the Copenhagen interpretation, has as one of its central tenets the concept of wave function collapse. That is to say, every event exists as a “wave function” which contains every possible outcome of that event, which “collapses”—distilling into the actual outcome, once it is observed. For example, if a room is unobserved, anything and everything that could possibly be in that room exists in “quantum superposition”—an indeterminate state, full of every possibility, at least until someone enters the room and observes it, thereby collapsing the wave function and solidifying the reality."

This is a very interesting read and inspired this musical channeling of how I may have created this song in alternate realities...with a collision of worlds at the end! This was originally improvised on the piano and then the other instruments replaced the piano in each section afterwards.

This song is a musical interpretation of the following poem by T.S. Eliot.  It is meant to be read quickly while the music is playing.

Song was inspired by a motif written by Tarkan Şendal while browsing through FaceBook and seeing his motif written out with a question of "what chord would you use in the 3rd bar?" Here's my answer!  An indirect collaboration ;) This was improvised.

So I heard about The Dark Tower and how it was going to connect the Stephen King multiverse. This is what I thought it was going to be about! My cousin, Damon Rickard, informed me that the video I made was more like Castle Rock... but I'll upload it anyway! :) This is the music from my first fan trailer and depending on response maybe I'll make some more!
