I recently came across an old hard drive of mine that had a treasure trove of live and studio recordings anywhere from 10 to 20 years old that had been lost to time.  

This was A lSSive recording from "ChillChoons" a weekly chill out (no way!) lounge night that I produced about a decade ago.  The atmosphere was super relaxed, so there are a few slightly rough mixes, but I thought the track selection in this little mini mix was particularly on-point. If I had to pick one of my mixes to elevate, it would probably be this one.  All DJ's have experienced those occasional sets that just come together almost naturally, and this was my experience making this.  This mix probably represents me at the top of my game, both technically and creatively.  If you enjoy this mix I encourage you to check out Volume 2 and 3. In 1998, Eric Graham setup his first pair of turntables and immediately knew he was on the first day of a journey he never wanted to end. With over 20 years of experience at hand, Eric approaches his sets as a single collage to be assembled with contrasting dynamics and a constant evolution- rather then just playing one track after another. Eric's unique style of performance combines elements of production techniques, skills of turntabilism, with a solid background of music theory for utilizing unique combinations of harmonics in non standard ways.  Eric Graham has often been praised by colleagues for his extremely technical and unusual approach to mixes using upwards of 8 channels where he uses stems and layering as opposed to single finished tracks.  This approach allows a much more interactive back and froth with the audience as he expertly casts dark magic creating vivid atmospherics and hypnotic climaxes, holding his audience completely enthralled for the entire journey.

In 2018, Graham decided to set aside DJ'ing and completely focus on producing his own music, with the aim to perform his own music live. Through the techniques evolved in production, his sets have continued to evolve to the point of being more live performance act - creating real time remixes and song deconstructions. Ultimately, everything Eric Graham does, is in support of building a nuanced and transcendent story, to move his audience both in mind and body.
