Very unique stuff! I'm not a funk kind of person, but I can appreciate the musicianship. This has great song writing, I love the 'off-chords' as I call them. Beautiful modulations too. Very solid melody making!

Another remix I did this year was for Anomalie and Chromeo's "Bend the rules" EP remix competition. This one was so much fun to do. My approach typically is to reharmonize just listening to the vocal and loading up my favorite piano or Rhodes instrument. This one is no different and I'm quite pleased with the end result as a funky / jazzy track quite different from the original.

It's quite apparent that I'm heavily influenced by Anomalie both in harmonies and sonically. Although I didn't win the competition I'm happy it was shortlisted for the livestream with feedback from both Chromeo and Anomalie.
