3 years ago, jarjarjr released an homage to Madvillainy, entitled Fallen Angel.

Since sincerely beginning my vinyl journey last year, I have longed to own Fallen Angel in its physical form. 

On March 24th 2021 a deluxe edition of Fallen Angel, with 11 brand new tracks on side B, will be made available for pre order on vinyl. 

The deluxe edition centres around two themes: destruction and heartache. Brand new artwork by Gavconl captures these sentiments beautifully. The LP is designed to loop, running seamlessly from beginning to end and back again. This will be a limited run, one off pressing. 

I'm going to be giving away some test presses and a few copies in the coming weeks. Follow me on instagram @jarjarjr.wav for pre order links and more details... 

Here's hoping this film allows you to see, what I envisage when reworking classic tunes from artists I love.

I’ve always had this connection with music at such a young age, I grew up having a musical background. My dad was a musician & my mom was a singer. I started collecting Vinyl records in high school, Got inspired to start chopping samples & making beats.
I grew up listening to a lot of D’angelo, Badu, Maxwell, Dilla etc. and Thats when I fell involve with the Neo Soul sound. My deep 
appreciation for music & art is basically my main source for inspiration. That shit’s just has to be right for me to tap in.
I curated this mix for everybody who uses music as a temporary escape, for the ones who can understand. Intellectual Intimacy is about being on the same Vibrational Frequency, about sharing a moment, a level of understanding. I hope you enjoy the mix & I hope it takes you somewhere you feel you belong. This one’s for you.
