Ericka Janes - War Waltz #1

"Lost in the Future" is a song about feeling directionless and searching for meaning. I was very young when I wrote it and named it "Mountains of the Future," but as time flew by, I renamed it to keep it relevant.
The chorus repeats the theme of being "lost in the future" and the ongoing quest for clarity. Verses depict existential doubt, confusion, and a desire for resolution. The recurring line "We will have to start again" emphasizes the cycle of losing and finding one's way. Overall, it reflects the struggle for meaning amidst life's chaos.

"Brighton Day" is an uplifting ballad about overcoming fears and finding strength. The lyrics tell the story of someone dealing with self-doubt, who is encouraged by a caring friend to keep going. This friend could be anybody, even your inner self. 
Even in tough times, you'll always find a way out. "Brighton Day" inspires listeners to believe in brighter days ahead.
