Instrumental version and first draft of "The Swan Song"
From the shiny (and Rock!) EP "Late Night Show"

Eric Lavién here, it's story time with me, plus a couple of shout out! In case you missed it, since I didn't release it with the EP, this is the very first draft of "The Swan Song" included in the EP "Late Night Show" in a more Rock version. 😎🤘🔥

When I started working on this particular track, that I crafted note after note at the piano, using mostly VST for the other instruments, it was a very inspiring moment indeed.

I thought of this song, initially, as an orchestral piece, and in the second part of the song, I got inspired by the beautiful play and cool "flute guy" mr. Pedro Eustache (EustachePedro on socials) as I find his performances truly inspiring as I often told across his socials. Way to go Pedro!!! You Rock!!! 😊🪈🙏

I decided to add to the draft, flute, and violins, toward the end, to enrich the feeling I had when composing it.

I hope one day to make this live, played with and by an orchestra.
You can listen to the first draft here, and I hope you'll enjoy as much as I've enjoyed working on it.
