Cubiversum ist eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Cubex und Schlaflos, einem Club in Aarau. Das Ziel ist es, das Subgenre namens Psytech oder PsyTechno zu fördern und voranzubringen. PsyTechno ist eine Fusion aus Minimal, Techno und Psytrance, die im Laufe der Jahre an Popularität gewonnen hat. Künstler präsentieren es nun sowohl auf internationalen Outdoor-Festivals als auch in Indoor-Clubs.
Die Cubiversum-Veranstaltungen präsentieren internationale Künstler, die PsyMinimal, PsyTechno und PsyProg produzieren und jeweils 2 bis 3 Stunden auflegen. Diese Künstler haben ihre Produktionen für renommierte internationale Labels wie Zenon Records, Soupherb Recordings und zahlreichen anderen Labels veröffentlicht. Bei einer Cubiversum-Veranstaltung erwartet die Besucher ein unvergessliches Erlebnis - erstklassige Künstler von Anfang bis Ende, außergewöhnliche Klangqualität, spezielle Lichtvisuals von Pixelmätsch und VVVisuals sowie einzigartige Künstlerdekoration von KaterKatze.

Für unsere kommende Veranstaltung haben wir das renommierte Hamburger Label MoinMoin Records eingeladen. Wir möchten damit Sascha Hinz ehren, der im Jahr 2013 das Label zusammen mit Florian Kötter ins Leben gerufen hat. Über die Jahre hinweg fanden zahlreiche Events in Flensburg, Kiel und vor allem im bekannten Hamburger Club Fundbureau statt, wo sich die Künstler regelmäßig trafen, gemeinsam Musik machten und ausgiebig feierten.
Im Januar 2021 haben wir Sascha Hinz viel zu früh verloren. Nun, 2,5 Jahre später, freut es uns außerordentlich, dass die MoinMoin Crew wieder vereint ist und erstmals in der Schweiz auftritt! Als besondere Hommage an Sascha werden wir den Club Schlaflos für 12 Stunden mit atmosphärischen, dunklen Minimal Techno Beats erfüllen - ganz so, wie er es geliebt hat.
Wir laden euch herzlich ein, Teil dieser unvergesslichen Nacht zu sein und gemeinsam Saschas musikalisches Erbe zu feiern. Freut euch auf eine einzigartige Veranstaltung, die dem Spirit von MoinMoin Records und Sascha Hinz gerecht wird.

ERIC SCHAICH BORN ON 13.05.1986 IN STUTTGART, WAS RAISED WITH MUSIC. INFLUENCED BY EXPERIMENTAL JAZZ OF HIS GRANDFATHER, ABSTRACT MUSICAL STYLES HAD HE’S FOCUS. IN 2002 ERIC BEGAN HAVING INTENSIVE INTEREST WITH THE UNDERGROUND TECHNO SCENE AND BEGAN PRODUCING HE’S OWN MUSIC. AFTER LONG NIGHTS IN STUDIOS AND CLUBS, HIS SOUND FORMED A DEEP, MINIMALIST TECHNO STYLE. ERIC PLAYED ON MAJOR EVENTS, ON THE SIDE AMONG OTHERS SUCH AS GAISER, RICHIE HAWTIN, EXTRAWELT, PAN POT AND SO ON. IT WAS FOLLOWED BY MANY MORE RELEASES ON ON LABELS  LIKE ZENON RECORDS, SOUPHERB RECORDS, COPYCOW, MINIMAHLZEIT, MISCHKONSUM RECORDS, CIRQUE DU MINIMALISTE . THE LIVE SHOWS OF ERIC SCHAICH ARE DEEP, IMPULSIVE AND PLAYFUL. HE KNOWS HOW TO DRAW HIS AUDIENCE INTO THE SPELL.

One thing is certain: Eric is a musician to the core. Thanks to his mother, a pianist, his father a composer for contemporary music and his grandfather, who is a jazz pianist till this day, Eric’s interest in music was there from the start. Very early in life, he became familiar with the harmony of tones and the passion for music, which from then on accompanied him through his life. When he was just a little boy, he spend whole days playing piano. He explored fascinated his first tones. Later in his life, his father brought him into contact with electronic music, synthesizers and mixers.

Then things happened fast. It all started at Dresden’s subversive basement parties. Then in 2000 in Stuttgart, a life without computer and his music programs, a life without producing, was hard to imagine anymore for Eric.

In 2001 Eric formed a rock band, which he supported with vocals and on the keyboard. In addition he also learned playing the guitar. Known as DJ Eric, he already played at various parties and events in the meantime. But very soon he realized, that only dee-jaying didn’t satisfy him anymore. While his buddies at the Federal Armed Forces got drunk, he only wanted to produce music. At that time he created some terrific Techno tracks of high standard. 2009 he met Steven Matai, who contracted Eric as producer and creative head at ONPULSE Records & Booking.

His music is so versatile, that you get the impression, that Eric’s head must be about to explode every second. His style is minimalistic, experimental and technoid - a unique variety. After having played numerous gigs around Ulm, like “Sommerklang Festival”, “Cultbar” or “Sucasa” he already made a name for himself and is now regularly delighting his audiences.
