In the year 2003, Eric Sneo released one of his most famous productions on Beatdisaster records called ciao bella&#8221;. 
This track entered the playlists of all the famous DJs all over and became a worldwide clubhit. 
Now, 10 years later, this cult track is back with an awesome remix package split into two releases, including the original tune remastered. 
Ciao bella, the cult track; again ready to be played at the festivals all over.

The Re-Transmit series heralds the re-workings of Eric Sneo classics, and the first instalment of this four-part release brings the frantic &#8220;Woodpecker From Mars&#8221; to 2014 standards. 
Jewel Kid is up first and takes no prisoners in his interpretation. Employing a straightforward approach from the beginning, persistent stabs and an upbeat bassline set the tone for things to come and the use of the original&#8217;s out-of-control main element as a complementing effect steals the show. 
Arjun Vagale swings and steamrolls through the night, combining a crackling rhythm section with sharp synths and menacing pad stabs. In this version we get a more obvious nod to the original&#8217;s &#8220;woodpecking&#8221; which effortlessly steps things up to new levels.

DC172 comes on behalf of Brazilian born Vinicius Honorio, a now London based producer and DJ who is making some serious in-roads amongst a new breed of techno artists. Having already released on labels such as Pig&Dan’s Elevate and dubspeeka’s Skeleton, the next natural step in his progression comes in the form of a release on Drumcode. 

‘Through The Darkness’ is a masterclass in darkened techno grooves, with each one of the four tracks managing to show off Honorio’s skill as a producer and just why he is firing on all cylinders. The release kicks off with ‘Walking Shadow’, a track that has been a key part of Adam Beyer’s sets at the tail end of 2016 and in to the new year. This tense, brooding affair has certainly garnered a lot of attention of late and it’s clear to see why. The title track ‘Through The Darkness’ is a much more of a stripped back cut, jam-packed with a haunting vocal hook, driving basslines and slick drums. This is one for the late night mischief makers. ‘Desolate’ is another hard-hitter, managing to perfectly balance that signature Honorio groove and pounding drums that adds depth to his productions. The release closes with the atmospheric ‘Out For Blood’, which is loaded with vintage rave stabs and weighty basslines – This one is meant to played in dark and sweaty rooms.

When Len Faki tackles an old school Matthew Herbert record (released 1998 under his rare Wishmountain moniker), the outcome couldn‘t get any better. Granting the haunting ’Radio’ a proper kick to beat along the chugging, percussive craze of the original, it quickly turns into a mesmerizing trip down memory lane. On the flip Faki leads an excursion deep into the jungle, with ’Bottle’ sporting an atmosphere so immersive, it‘s easy to get lost in the underbrush of this one!

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Now an internationally successful DJ, Eric Sneo started learning to play musical instruments from a young age, after his grandfather introduced him to an accordion at only the age of 4, he went on to experiment with drums after buying a drum kit in his teenage years and started to attend local jazz shows, where he really learned how to improvise. In 1991 he saw Sven Vath playing in Frankfurt, and it was here when he fell in love with what he was listening to, and wanted to know more.

With his unique performances on the E-drums during his DJ sets, Eric swiftly developed into a distinctive and highly sought after international performer with his unforgettable sets. After he presented his unique “Art of Life” show at the Nature One Festival (2009) for the first time, he gained rave reviews throughout an exclusive festival tour of the show in the summer 2010 and 2011. Eric can combine his trademark groovy technoid DJ style with his live performance of a range of acoustic and electronic instruments, including E-Drums, E-accordion, percussion & didgeridoo.

In 2011 he launched his new Mudra Audio label, where he released his critically acclaimed album “Polarity” in March 2012. Supported by international artists like Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Dubfire, Luciano, Gabriel Ananda and Cari Lekebusch, the album was highly successful, so much so much so, that Umek signed the album track “Shut Up & Dance” as a single for his 1605 label, which was released in August 2012.

With his successful “Move On” EP in 2013, he became a member of Christian Smith’s respected, forward-thinking Tronic family, a move that led to him to his 5th album of his career “Intensity’ which was released on Tronic in 2014. Much acclaimed support lead to a steady stream of hits on Tronic, with his “Move On” and “Metanoia” tracks remixed by Pig&Dan, Paco Osuna and Mendo.

Eric has announced he will be released his next album, which will be his second on Tronic in February 2017 with ‘Sound Traveler’. Featuring 14 original tracks which show Eric’s eagerness for experimentation. Providing full bodied beats and rolling basslines, closing the gap between tech-house and techno.
