Hello everyone! It's been a while. I'm happy to share with you my latest project, The Shimmering.  The Shimmering is an album that is dedicated and serves as a tribute to the old-school RPG Ahriman's Prophecy, developed by Aveyond Studios (formerly Amaranth Games) and released on March 7, 2004. It's a game I rather enjoyed back in my childhood  years and I always wanted to compose some music inspired by it. In this album I'm I am returning to my foundational pursuits in the composition of ambient music. It contains shorter dreamy tracks with more emphasis on atmospheric ambience. Enjoy~

My latest piece entitled, "What Grows Within", follows the ever-evolving, feeling of growth that we have as individuals. Some listeners may define it as love, while others may define it as the maturity we gain over the course of our lives. When writing this record, I felt it was important for each part of the piece to feel slightly different/definable, yet still maintain an overall connection to the theme. The essential idea was connecting the slow, dynamic, and climatic growth that we have in our lives, to that in which can be appreciated in an audible context. I hope while listening to this record, you feel that I achieved this vision, and as always, appreciate you taking the time to listen. Thanks!

Eric has inspired millions as composer, conductor, innovator, broadcaster and charismatic public speaker. His compositions rank among the most popular and frequently performed of the early 21st century, their reach broadened since 2010 by the extraordinary success of his online Virtual Choir project. Light & Gold, his first album as composer and conductor, won the 2012 Grammy® Award for Best Choral Recording and instantly topped the US and UK classical album charts.

Born in Nevada, he discovered a passion for choral music while studying at UNLV and he began composing soon after. He went on to study at the Juilliard School of Music in New York under John Corigliano. Many of his choral compositions, Cloudburst, Lux Aurumque and Sleep among them, have entered the standard choral repertoire and his orchestral music has been performed by some of the world’s most distinguished orchestras both sides of the Atlantic.
