ERIK ANTONIO was born on July 9th and is a native of the city of East Chicago; son of Mexican parents from the State of San Luis Potosi. 

The entrepreneur who after successfully advancing in the corporate world, ERIK ANTONIO decided to leave his extensive career in management of hotels and finally as regional manager for a national company of health and fitness clubs, to engage professionally in what he loves most in life: Singing. 

Currently promoting his first self-titled album with 12 songs of mariachi. His vision was to continue with the tradition of Mexican mariachi music and adding some modern touches to make this album unique and come to life. In addition this would make an important exploration of how far the sounds of Mariachi Music can go. From an early age, the love and dedication of ERIK ANTONIO for the authentic Mexican music has been dormant and his mission to become a professional mariachi singer, this has led to many struggles and sacrifices to achieve his mission.
 
The combination of his musical talent and experience in the corporate world has helped ERIK ANTONIO build relationships and co-star with many well-known singers in the industry. With a privileged voice that has opened many doors for him as well as being contracted as a headliner of his own concert was accomplished even before producing his first album. ERIK ANTONIO returned to delight this fans at his home town, singing as a special guest with the famous music star: Marisela "La Dama de Hierro". He also was honored to share stages with the following Mexican singers; Rogelio Martínez "El RM", “La Banda San Jose de Mesillia” 
Beatriz Adriana and Don Pedro Rivera.
           
In August of 2013 ERIK ANTONIO was honored with  an award at "Premios de la Calle" in the city of Los Angeles as "Best Interpreter Ranchero" with his experience in business ERIK ANTONIO is doing everything to keep the genre alive and modern. In November of 2013 as owner of his own record label, GoVa Records ERIK ANTONIO was the Executive producer of the successful concert “Lo Mejor de Mexico” - Una Noche de Mariachi and Tequila in Los Angeles CA.


The musically talented ERIK ANTONIO and his desire for success is just the beginning of an exciting journey.
