Dia duit gach duine!! Yes, greetings from Dublin and welcome, to our infamous weekly podcast. Our globetrotting series that discovers the most exclusive dj mixes from all corners, is fast approaching its 300 episode, and boy have we got some crackers lined up for you!

First off, the jet is parked this week as we keep our focus on Irelands capital. Dublin has always been a source of talented DJs and artists and musicians, wether it be the electronic scene or otherwise. We have highlighted most of them in the past, but there are always more out there! Here to introduce himself to wider audience, make some noise for Sean Woodhouse!

Born and raised in Dublin Sean got his first taste of Djing when he moved to Nottingham when he was just 17, playing in bars across the city.

After returning home  to Dublin in 2000, Sean quickly settled into the music scene across the city, playing guest slots on Kiss FM and securing his own show on Play FM. He then locked in a Sunday Night residency at the infamous Store Street's basement club, Isaac Butts.

At his peak, Sean had found his way onto the roster of such iconic Dublin club nights as The POD, Mezz and The Switch.

After taking time away form the scene to raise a family, Sean returned in 2020 and started to get back into the scene, DJ'ing online and for guest mixes too.

Seans's style is to prefer the darker and deeper side of Progressive House and Techno, slowly building sets to a crescendo of dark bass and high hats. He counts his influences as Dublin favourites like Francois and Billy Scurry, with international influences like Sasha, John Digweed and Dubfire amongst his go-to's.

Hello there and thank you for tuning into this very special edition of our infamous weekly Progcast! We scour the globe for the best and most exclusive sets we can find, only this week we are doing it for the 300th occasion... 

Over the course of the last 6 years, the cream of the world's electronic DJ scene have graced our decks and supplied our global crew with some truly amazing mixes. We try to be right up with the new breed coming through as well, and it is here that our artist for this special mix comes into play. 

Back in June 23, we hosted a brilliant set from our artist, who was at that point just starting to find a niche, fast forward two years and his music can be found in DJ folders everywhere around the world.  Ladies and Gent's, this is SEAN HARVEY!

Sean Harvey is a DJ & Producer based in the UK, with regular releases on Keep Thinking, Plastic fantastic, Forensic, Little Helpers, Mango Alley and more. 

2022 saw a clear growth in Sean's sound; he landed his first BeatPort top spot in Melodic house & techno with "Oscillate", featured many times on Transitions since then and has his music hammered in front of thousands - from Buenos Aires to Melbourne.

Known for a steady stream of deep, twisted-tech and progressive cuts, he has established an original sound that’s earned consistent support from John Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Nick Muir. His music has travelled from Melbourne to Buenos Aires and back home again, including regular features on John Digweed’s Transitions sets. Balance Croatia 004: Jody Wisternoff

From early childhood car rides soundtracked by Jean-Michel Jarre to headlining underground club nights across the UK, Erik’s journey through electronic music has always been one of deep connection and evolution. Based on the South Coast of England, his love affair with sound began in the most organic of ways — through the speakers of his family’s car, where electronic music first captured his imagination.

“Music was always playing at home, but it was those long holiday drives with Jarre that really imprinted something on me. That’s where it all started.”

By the early ’90s, Erik had taken to the decks, diving headfirst into the UK’s vibrant club culture. What followed was a decades-spanning path through residencies, raves, and underground venues — including standout stints at Bournemouth’s flagship progressive and techno night Terminal, as well as the Twisted Global parties that defined a generation of South Coast dance music lovers.

Erik’s sound is fluid yet unmistakably his own. His DJ sets move seamlessly between deep house, progressive trance, atmospheric breaks, and driving techno — built on a foundation of lush textures, haunting melodies, and tightly wound grooves. Whether warming up a room or closing it down, Erik’s sets are more than just selections — they’re sonic narratives crafted for the dancefloor.

As a producer, Erik brings the same storytelling sensibility into the studio. His productions have caught the ears of a diverse group of global tastemakers, earning support from legends such as Nick Warren, Umek, Cristian Varela, and Meat Katie. With releases on respected imprints like Lowering the Tone, Prognosis, Krafted Records, AH Digital, Gibbon Records, and Wight Label Records, Erik has built a discography that balances depth, energy, and emotional resonance.

Now serving as the President DJ for Bournemouth-based Revibe Emotions, Erik continues to contribute to the scene — not just as a performer or producer, but as a curator, mentor, and ambassador for the underground. Whether on stage or in the studio, his mission remains the same: to create meaningful musical experiences that move bodies, stir emotions, and stay with listeners long after the final beat..
