Striding past rubble to the hidden entrance below…Through dark corridors the path beckons, distorting reality and emerging with every step as a menacing new vista... 

ERIMOSIS 

It’s hard to believe that all is lost. All familiarity and what he called home are reduced to a shattered town, thrown in this dark void. Impressions of doom, irrevocably summoned unto the core of being. Coiled like an embryo, never going to hatch into something new, he finalizes the self-destruct sequence and pauses all recordings. But it’s not enough; it never is. Fingers now cold, searching for meaning in the blank slates of the former panels, head shaking, and trembling, impending end. Just a bit longer.
