“Silver Wings, Burning Hearts” is our 80s AOR fighter-pilot anthem about loyalty, risk and a love story written above the clouds. Gigi sings as a pilot who’s always trusted instruments more than feelings, while Blaze Archer answers in the choruses and with a soaring lead-guitar voice that feels like afterburners lighting up the sunset.

This track is part of our Salt Lake City Studio Series and leans fully into classic movie-soundtrack energy: runway heat haze, briefing-room tension, night sorties over the ocean – and the quiet promise that someone will be there when you land. Gigi carries the narrative verses; Blaze steps in and also performs all the guitar solos, and together they sound like two jets locked in formation.

“Silver Wings, Burning Hearts” is an **original** OMGG song.

It is openly and clearly inspired by:  
– The original *Top Gun* (1986) film and its high-energy rock soundtrack  
– The song **“Mighty Wings”** by Cheap Trick, as a strong mood and energy reference  

If you know “Mighty Wings,” you’ll definitely hear the influence in the tempo, drum energy and overall “end-credits flying into the night” feeling. That resemblance is intentional as a tribute, but:

• All **lyrics**, **vocal melodies** and **specific arrangements** here are original OMGG writing.  
• The track does **not** reuse the original master recording, stems or official backing track.  
• The underlying composition and recordings of “Mighty Wings” and the *Top Gun* score remain fully owned by their original copyright holders.

“Silver Wings, Burning Hearts” is meant as a respectful homage and re-imagining in the same cinematic rock spirit, not as an official cover or remix, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original rights owners.
