I stubbed my toe on it cleaning up my mess and discovered with some scrubbing it was worth keeping--personally as a window on my former self and how I felt--which was in retrospect as good asI have  in ways. And I am pretty sure this isn't the OG mix, but rather my own attempt to recreate/reanimate a more inspired mix with many of these same tunes (plus I'm pretty sure some rad TBD edits etc…) It's like a memory maybe you made up from hearing it told/or saw yourself pictured in an old album before time began...

a dream Remembered

I began attempting to mix after hearing Drew Detweiler play in a basement in Boone North Carolina in 1991 or 2... The Strawberry NEK and Unity nights, Trim shop and the like got me dancing for real and playing records. Then Atlanta and Earthtone Soundsystem with the renegade park parties of the mid late 90s, the label and the West End and The Bus across America and DiY along for the ride...And then Colorado and MESS and Ejay and Dirty Funk Squad and Freedom and Bondage and freedom again. And now this. Now Now. Here.
