I wrote this song feeling at a loss for answers to all the issues we face today. There's so much confusion and deception in this world and it's even starting to divide the church on core doctrines that have been held for centuries. Sometimes it's hard to know where to stand. In this moment of uneasiness I felt like the Lord said, "hold on to me. I am the rock that stands strong. If you cling to me and my word you will never be swept away."

CHECK OUT MY NEW SONG!  The November release is called Radiant, inspired by the Bible verse Hebrews 1:3-4.  This verse points to the fact that Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and that he has been exalted higher than anyone or anything. Radiant is such a powerful adjective and I wanted to sing this to the One who nothing and no one can out shine.

He Has Come (Acoustic)

   Erik was born in California but raised in Tidewater, Virginia. He started picking up music, singing, and piano in his early high school years. Later he attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida and earned his degree in Psychology and Bible. It was there he would also come to play the guitar. A year after graduating he would go on to youth pastor and lead worship in Pocomoke City, Maryland just outside of Ocean City for four and a half years. Next, Erik moved back to Virginia to take another Youth Pastor and Worship Leader position at Clover Hill Assembly of God in a suburb of Richmond called Midlothian. This past year, he started leading worship at their new Moseley Campus. Erik loves youth and leading worship and has been doing it for over ten years. He would love the opportunity to come play at your church or event. His music primarily centers around fun, energy-filled pop worship music, but he also loves to dial it down for intimate settings as well.
