Last year, long time Circus events and Circus Recordings fan Bontan reached out to Yousef to offer his remix services, the result was the explosive Bontan remix of Louis Proud’s ‘So Many Promises’, now one of Circus Recordings most successful releases.

A new friendship was born and whispers of a collaboration where heard…

Not long after, while working on his 3rd album, Yousef’s ‘in the process of eight’, the label owner felt he needed a twist on a vocal track he was working on.
A short chat later and Yousef was on his way to visit Bontan in his home studio with the sultry vocals of the The Angel ready to be recreated. 
The result is a meticulous, yet stripped back, mature sounding fiery vocal track. Nasty drums, relentless bass ride a poignant vocal that shimmers through the backdrop of authentic house.

The full release comes with 3 elegant and timely remixes from Timo Maas, Denney and ANNA.

As its name implies, Dust is primed for the most tribal dance floors of the international House and Techno communities. His invaluable founding membership of Mr. C’s Superfreq has seen David’s role within the label and partysquad sprawl from resident DJ to promoter - carrying him from Detroit and Bogota to Mexico’s BPM Festival and fabric London. He too has flexed his irrefutable knowledge of the life atmosphere at Desert Hearts Festival, playing one of the most talked about sets of the Three Year Anniversary Festival this past November.

Vaxx - The Terrace [Free Download]

German house masters Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora have announced that they will be releasing the third volume in the 'It Began In Africa' compilation series on Kittball Records. For this, the label have teamed up with "The African Children's Choir", licensed their music and organised a selection of producers to remix them whilst contributing their royalties to the choir. The money will provide shelter, education and a new home for African children in need.

The first two compilations generated over 15,000 Euros which were used to support the choir and its social projects. The funds enabled the building of nurseries and schools to help children get away from life in the streets and this new edition includes tracks from Dario D'Attis, Flashmob, Josh Butler, Mat.Joe, Magdalena, Riva Starr, Walker & Royce and many more.

This is a deep and afro-tinged selection of house tracks that take us back to the roots of rhythm, embalming the earthy grooves with all manner of melodies, tribal percussive patterns, cosmic signifiers and more in between.
