From Sacramento, California.  My roots include my father's passion for jazz and pop music, and my mom's love of folk music.  My projects alternate these styles because both are so much apart of my musical upbringing and they influence each other.  Each time, I try to make the bridge the gap between these styles as I teach myself more production techniques, more sampling.    The combination: that's me, that's Maroney.
