jazzENIGMATIC is an audio series that explores the dynamism, complexity, and misunderstood beauty of jazz music.

A historically Black art form - and arguably the only truly American music - jazz has too often been reduced to background noise for coffee shops, dinner parties, or elevators. It’s been misunderstood as niche, inaccessible, or reserved for a select few. This series challenges that notion.

An homage and challenge to jazz stereotypes, jazzENIGMATIC invites you to hear jazz as it is: raw, alive, unpredictable. A conversation. An experiment. A rebellion. An embrace.  

Selections in this mix come directly from my personal vinyl collection, carefully chosen to reflect the depth, variety, and spirit of jazz in all its enigmatic resplendence.
