Sugar Free and Fonte are a Madrid-based DJ duo known for their deep personal and artistic connection. They first met ten years ago, bonding over a shared passion for music—a spark that led to a lasting collaboration both on and off stage.

Fabio Donia, aka Pabie, is a DJ from Milan scene since the early 2000s.
Started his career at the age of 18, he was a constant presence in the Milan underground
scene and resident for realities like Frames, Sorgente Sonora and from 2016 to 2018 he was
Co-Founder and Resident of Soundproof, series of monthly daytime events in the
suggestive venue of Masada, an old typography reconverted in a Library and club
association. In the recent times, he is an active part and resident dj of Opal collective, where he
constantly share decks with new locals and international underground artists. 

In his own words : “This podcast is a “freestyle” recording made in a night of 2023, using 2 Technics MK5 turntables, an Isonoe Rotary mixer, SR booth monitors, and a Klipsch Soundsystem. It’s a spontaneous set with only vinyl that I don’t usually play but like to collect for listening at home or simply because of the emotional atmosphere they create. The recording starts with a dark and spooky ambient sound and moves into more mystical tones, featuring a one-sided conversation between a girl and a character named George. The second part mixes organic sounds with electronic trip-hop, featuring more instrumental sections that build up to a surprising final track that carries “a message” for everyone.“

Another OG in our series, this time it’s fellow Dutchman Daan Donk! He has been an integral part of Amsterdam’s underground culture for years, not only as head of Likeminded and Tale of Bus (Garage), but especially as DJ. We first met him digging through record stores when hardly anyone was paying attention to old records, and since than he has dedicated his life to vinyl. Daan and his projects have definitely shaped the city’s sound; so hats off to him. We are happy to share a live recording from Daan from a moody Crevette Records night in Fuse (Brussels).
