Description: A 15 year old customer called Juan came over with his drum. I wanted to record a sample of my Medium Arabian flute. Not knowing what to call it, I just listened again and it seemed to flow. Thus the name, Water in the Desert. Thanks Juan!

The Big Banyan (original composition by SinaSiav) was made originally as a soundtrack for Yoga Art of Living Series's 4th Episode (Published in 2020). The inspiration for this song came from the big banyan tree where I used to go for yoga practice and singing practices.
Instruments used in this piece (Flute, Handpan, Vocals, Synth, etc...) played by SinaSiav and recorded, Mixed & Mastered by Navakanu Records.

The song is called "Rendijas", and evokes several of the musics that have influenced us over the last years, including classical guitar, flamenco guitar and Mediterranean music... 

We composed this song at a time when we were coming out of the pandemic, being aware that nature always breaks through in the face of all adversity, the album cover is a sample of this, to design it I used an aerial photo I took last year in the beautiful space of @hortdelariera.
