Maceo Plex Full Set @ Mixmag Live 14-12-2013

Hi friends, here's my set from listed's PLAY party at BPM. My set was quite early in the day with the first few guests just arriving, so I got to start things really light (as I love to do) and slowly build a vibe for Naveen to take things over followed by Three, Konrad Black, and Bill Patrick. Thanks to Mike Perry for starting the day off with some light deep grooves, too. Overall, it was a really nice party with some really nice people. I hope to get to do it again next year (but maybe with less rain!).

Sabo - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2013

I almost changed the title of this mix when I read the dictionary definition of smirk and reacted to how negatively it came across. Not at all what I was aiming for. But I'm sticking with my gut and will clarify. To me, the smirk that this mix reflects is a smile of playful energy, an expression of knowing that the smile is shared, a grin from the inside. And there are definitely some bigger tracks in here than my mixes typically contain, more epic, more sweeping. Hope you enjoy them.
