Borg Recordings latest release "Malenkonia" by MIDI K84 is a varied 
but extremely well balanced take on electro. The title track is delicate, and filled with acidic ambience, with simple, subtle and sensitive vocals. "Danube" is full of synth, and the most electro-techno track, a reminder of MIDI K84´s French influences. 
Old-school track "Don´t Stop the Bass" shows a surprisingly creative and fresh take on classic electro, Full of ambient synths and basslines, and "Vostok 1" is in a class of its own with its peculiar mixture of Rother-like synths, atmosphere and spendidly placed Russian samples. Surprisingly uniform but varied throughout, the EP shows off all the style and class of MIDI K84.

Around 1980 my interest in Electronic Music was defined. The whole Electro/ Industrial scene, the prelude for the today's scene had no more secrets for me. Around 1985 I made some Electro/Industrial music in the Tape scene. For some time I wrote about Electro for the Tape Magazine Mad in Belgium. Today my interest for Electro is still vivid and with lot's of enthusiasm I contribute to the Radio Show Elektrodos and the WebZine TechnoBass.net. The Radio show Bass Agenda by Andy is also a inexhaustible source that feeds my knowledge and inspiration.
