Got into a discussion with a dude crying "Not all men! Not me!" Me and two other women tried to explain why he didn't need to get so defensive, that it was not about him. He decried the world a pendulum, swinging from one extreme to another, He admits some evidence of culpability.  "Man has dominated sure, they have taken rights away from women and have made laws against her body, but..." He is quick to point out that that he doesn't deserve our surely coming wrath... because he is not he, he is not a slave owner, a pimp, a human trafficker, etc. etc. etc., gives a long predictable checklist of self-accolades and self-promotions, and cries of, "I've done so much and yet now everyone is out to get me." It's just not fair, woe is he. Exhausting is he. Shhhh, don't talk over her or me while you are explaining to us your feminism, stop taking it so personally and take societal culpability. Don't worry, your historical ways will not be used on you.

 written out and attempted to remember the melody for each in order to sing they lyrics he pieced together for my mom.
