Song A Week 2025

The Nashville-Wisco 24 (2025) is the asynchronous songwriting project of Erin Wolf from Saturday, October 25, 2025. 

When the sudden death of a family friend had Erin canceling plans to participate in-person for "The Nashville 24 (Class of 2025), she decided to still take on the challenge to write 24 songs in 24 hours from her home in WI while those from the TN24 (Class of 2025) worked down in TN. 

Weaving flurries of songwriting between naps, funeral commitments, and other curveballs of the day, Erin finished with 26 solo writes and immense gratitude for the ability to still be with loved ones to celebrate the life of Marky. 

Please know these are shared in fairly rough demo form - only light editing. Thank you for your patience, and enjoy the music!

on the banks of the water
of my young years flowing
got me feeling wistful 
remembering

down the street and the hill
to my slice of paradise

my skin on the slide

like rain falling on 
the ice beneath our feet
freezing fog, all consuming 
as we drive in the night
feel it wrapping its icy grip
around us now
calling out to take a leap -
fading into deep 

can't see the road ahead

the chills pass through two tons of steel
