This is beautiful, I love the chorus! And this line - "sometimes we've gotta face what's staring right at us and oh leave the magic for another day"

Wow what a balance between art and craft. It feels like (and please forgive me "assessing", as I know that's not the point) you have been hitting the songwriting gym SO hard, and then in this one, allowed those muscles to carry you through something deep.

sometimes throwing caution to the wind and just letting it fly is the best way to create! no shame in that.  And if this is you as a "rough" take, it's pretty awesome, keep on doing it!

Incredibly powerful song and performance. There's no mistaking it coming straight from your heart to the listener. You just showed us that something beautiful can come out of loss and pain. Amazing, Erin.

*Note about the song: I was so frustrated trying to write anything for this prompt that I just started recording and playing. Rougher recording, but it's true to the rawness of the last few weeks.*
